Counselling and psychotherapy can be helpful for everyone.
There is no level of sadness or worry that suddenly means therapy is right for you. Our experiences and our responses are unique.
There are many reasons for people choosing to start therapy. Sometimes they carry difficult experiences for a long time but try to ignore them.

Perhaps they feel like something isn’t quite right but just can’t work out what?

Maybe life has started to feel too much lately or they've notice. headaches or their body always feels tense?
​
It could be things which usually make them feel better don’t seem to help anymore or are even starting to become a problem? ​​​​​
Whatever the reason for choosing counselling, our aim is to gain new perspectives and self awareness which help us to manage the most difficult aspects of life.

We can’t change our experiences but we can change how much control those experiences have over us and I meet you in that process by offering a balance of compassionate exploration and supportive challenge that is safely and gently held.​​
