Counselling and psychotherapy can be helpful for all sorts of people, for all sorts of reasons.
There is no level of sadness, anxiety or distress you need to reach before therapy is right for you. Our experiences are unique, and so are the ways we respond to them.
Perhaps you have carried difficult experiences for a long time and tried to push them aside. You might know that something doesn’t feel quite right without really knowing why.
Life may have started to feel too much, your relationships may be difficult, or you might notice anxiety showing up in your body through tension, headaches or a feeling of always being on alert.
Sometimes the things that once helped us cope stop working, or even begin to create difficulties of their own.
Many of the people I work with have experienced trauma, difficult early relationships or experiences that continue to affect how they feel about themselves and relate to others.
Together, we can explore what has happened, the ways you have learned to cope and protect yourself, and what might feel different now.
We can’t change the past, but we can change how much control it has over us, our relationships and the decisions we make in the present.
I’ll work alongside you with compassionate exploration and gentle challenge, always at the speed of trust.
I welcome neurodivergent clients and my practice is GSRD-affirming, including LGBTQ+ and kink-affirming. You can be yourself with me.
